The Position

As Supply Chain Development Director, you will oversee the South and East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) regional supply chain development portfolio based on Global Supply Chain Strategy, regional commercial plans, and improvement opportunities. This in close collaboration with global and regional functions as well as local affiliates. You will directly report to Senior Director, Supply Chain SEEMEA.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Drive management and execution of the supply chain development portfolio in the SEEMEA region, ensuring effective prioritisation and governance.
Collaborate with the regional Supply Chain head, Affiliates and International Operations (IO) to set and advance supply chain priorities.
Serve as the interface to Development teams in IO and the other regions, ensuring alignment and collaboration on common development initiatives.
Taking lead on regional supply chain optimisation and transformation projects, process improvements and drive progress and change in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Having an innovative mindset, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and explore new solutions for supply chain optimisation.
Leading change management activities at regional, business area and affiliate levels, ensuring best practice sharing and driving the implementation of a continuous improvement mindset in the region.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have experience in Supply Chain operations, Project management, Stakeholder management, Agile ways of working, Strategy development and deployment, and Change/transformation management. Moreover, you have a strong Commercial understanding, a resultdriven approach and a commitment to create continuous improvement.
In addition, you also:
Hold a degree in Supply Chain Management or related education and have experience working within an international organization.
Have 8+ years' experience in Supply Chain and project management, leading crossfunctional and international projects.
Experience in management consulting is a plus.
Have 5+ years of people leadership experience. Are fluent in English at business level in both written and spoken form.

The commercial Supply Chain consist of a central team and most colleagues are located within the affiliates.
