As a
"Sensory & Product Experience Insights Team Manager" in the Nespresso Coffee Team you will lead your team to generate and transform consumer product insights into unsurpassed preferred coffees and innovative coffee experiences.


Based in the Nespresso Coffee R&D facility in Romont FR, you will foster a consumer centric approach for coffee and product experience development from ideation & brief to product launch & post launch.

You will develop your teammates competences and lead the constant evolution in methodology and data capability. Join the consumer insight team and be at the heart of the development of our products of tomorrow.

A Day in the Life of a Consumer Insights Team Manager

  • Manage and coach the team of experienced and senior specialists, setting objectives, priority and delivering results on short term asks and mediumterm projects.
  • Propose and implement adequate methodologies to deliver in time and quality sensory & consumer insights for the coffee roadmap and product experience innovation.
  • Advocate for sensory product experience bringing recommendation in the product ideation together with coffee R&D, marketing, and innovation.
  • Connect with internal colleagues from CMI, CRM, Digital to seek and transmit useful insights and data for our product experience development.
  • Increase with the Sensory Product Experience data scientist the team data capability.
  • Meet the data treatment and analysis objectives including data tools & system and analysis campaigns.
  • Improve as a coffee expert, interested and curious about the world coffee, understanding the taste of coffee in relation to its making and to the consumer perception and liking.
  • Relay the voice of Nespresso values and principles in the Consumer Sensory Insight Network and Data Analytics Network.

What will make you successful

  • 10+ years' senior experience in the field of sensory & consumer insights, consumer experience insights, CRM, data science or equivalent dealing with crossfunctional teams.
  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role, managing and coaching people.
  • Background in food science, psychology, neurology, or similar field.
  • Experience in influencing people with new and disruptive insights successfully integrated into products.
  • Ability to drive creation and maintenance of data tool in IS IT environment.
  • Collaborative, serviceoriented and persuasive style.
  • Ability to work on multi projects in parallel and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Fluent in English.
