As a preferred supplier for Glycart Roche Innovation Center, we are looking for an individual as


Research Project Manager for Oncology Discovery (M/F/d):

  • (contract until February/Mid of March 2024) ideally in Schlieren/Zürich or Basel as a second option. Start date is asap or within 2 months.

Home Office:
Hybrid, 80-100% possible.


ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION:


  • Enabling a vision & strategy for Discovery projects in partnership with the research project leader and the project team. Consolidating highlevel project information obtained from project teams into project plans
  • Feeding essential info into portfolio management, creating alignment & transparency and thus enriching decision making by the leadership
  • Guiding teams through the everchanging landscape of governance & stakeholder management
  • Supporting the annual goalsetting process for Discovery projects and regular tracking of progress against these goals
  • Assisting and guiding individual project teams at their interface with governance bodies and supporting functions in dealing with complex issues that impact the Discovery Portfolio
  • Working with the Project teams to identify, validate and propose potential solutions to major issues, resource bottlenecks, project plan deviations, and develop tradeoff options for rapid project progression or early project termination

REQUIRED PROFILE:


  • University Degree in natural sciences, PhDs desired or other with several years of relevant experience
  • Min. 2 years experience in Project Management in the drug development space for cancer research and development
  • Good understanding of the scientific language and behaviors, ideally in Oncology
  • Experience in working in a matrix environment
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledgeable in supporting or leading crossfunctional drug discovery or development project teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in preparing and running effective meetings & workshops
  • Working well within teams and effective in collaborating with others internally and externally
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive working >
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking and experience in working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Able to translate strategy into action
