We continue to grow and are currently looking for a Sales Representative GTD (M/F/o % for our branch in Zurich Altstetten as soon as possible.


As an Account Manager in the Government and Transportation sector, you will support our existing customers and play a significant role in shaping the strategic future of these two important business areas at Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial.


  • With your understanding of processes and requirements, you provide forwardthinking advice to our customers in their development. You recognize potential and contribute to business development.
  • You create highquality offers in collaboration with the project team and manage extensive tender procedures.
  • You guide the entire sales cycle from the initial touchpoint to contract closure and then serve as the primary sales contact for the customer.
  • You initiate and lead internal initiatives and projects to tailor our solution portfolio even better to future market requirements.
  • You play a key role in shaping longterm strategic initiatives and bringing them to the market.
  • You establish contacts with potential solution prospects and initiate presales activities such as product demonstrations, site visits, and reference customer visits.
  • You proactively influence and contribute to our marketing activities.
  • You have a completed technical (university) degree (e.g., in computer science, information technology, geoinformation/geoinformatics, engineering) or a comparable education.
  • Your several years of experience in sales or salesrelated environments, especially in personal interaction and consultation with customers, is ideally complemented by good knowledge of the market segment.
  • You have very good German and English language skills in spoken and written form, knowledge of another Swiss national language is a plus.
  • You enjoy providing advice, think conceptually and foresightedly to develop the best possible solutions for customers based on our portfolio. You are open and motivated to familiarize yourself with new disciplines and products, supported by internal experts.
  • Your winning presence, good interpersonal sense, and a healthy dose of pragmatism enable you to establish contacts, build sustainable relationships, communicate well internally and externally, and find effective solutions in challenging situations. You like to take initiative and have a good instinct for what benefits us and the customers.
