At our site in Aarburg, we manufacture high-quality stainless steel products for the private kitchen sector.

To reinforce our team we are looking for you as dedicated Head Finance & Controlling DACH for the Division Home Solutions.


Your main location will be Aarburg but in this position you need to work two days per week in our location in Bad Säckingen / Germany.


Your responsibilities:


  • Strong leader for all involved team members along our Franke values, thereby targeting for "high performance teams"
  • Coordinate all financial reporting functions for DACH and support local subsidiaries in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Consolidate & analyze financial results, proposing corrective measures, when necessary, by focusing on some specific areas
  • Complete financial statements including a balance sheet, a statement of income and cash flows
  • Monitor performance, KPIs and analyze variances
  • Prepare and analyze periodic sales reports (volumes, prices, mix, margins) by product line, country, distribution channel etc.
  • Support the production plants (Switzerland and Germany) in analyzing and revising reporting, in budgeting and forecasting processes, and in closing monthly financial statements
  • Analyze key management indicators: costs, margins and profitability
  • Responsible for drawing up the budget and closing estimates against budget targets

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance
  • A true "winning together" attitude and "taking ownership" mentality are equally important
  • Experience in designing and operating effective internal controls
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards and cost accounting
  • Good understanding of the main business processes (Operations, Sales, Marketing and Category Management)
  • Proficient knowledge of IT tools and Microsoft Suite with Word, advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Ability to work with a diverse team, with attention to mentorship and professional development of staff
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in German and good English knowledge
