Position Summary:

As Manager Supply Chain EMEA & APAC, you are responsible for the distribution of medicinal product to international customers and the on-time readiness of late-stage labelling orders.

You will contribute to the month-end close activities related to distribution and the KPI reporting.

To be successful in this role, you have gained experience within international distribution (focus road and airfreight) of life science products and ideally with contract manufacturing.

You demonstrate agility to stretch, are a self-driven team player, and you keep focus to detail and results in a complex and fast changing environment.


Work Model:


Flex:
This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.


Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for time sensitive shipments of medicinal products in close collaboration with internal and external partners in Europe, Middle East, in the U.S., and in Asia Pacific, including the preparation of necessary export/import documentation.
  • Maintain the shipment database and run transactions in Oracle to record and track all shipments.
  • Handle shipment issues in our Quality Management System (damage, temperature excursions, noncompliance, etc.) and provide corrective and preventative actions in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure the ontime readiness of 2ndary packaging orders with our external vendor(s) and our Quality Department (Late-Stage Labelling).
  • Perform inventory reporting/reconciliation and assist Finance during monthend close related to distribution and latestage labelling.
  • Own KPI reports and contribute to analytics for regular crossfunctional business reviews.
  • SharePoint key user/administrator.
  • Support continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent in related field.
- +5 years relevant professional experience, strong preference within life sciences/biotech distribution and packaging or freight forwarding of biotech products.

  • Deep knowledge of INCOTERMS, Global Trade Regulations and Customs procedures.
  • Good understanding of cGxPs and life science industry procedures and regulations; experience working with Veeva Vault QMS is an asset.
  • Effective communication skills at different levels: verbal and written.
  • Fluent in German and English, French is a strong plus.
  • Strong problemsolving skills in a fastpaced, crossfunctional, and highly complex environment.
  • High attention to detail while demonstrating ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent learning agility and committed to contribute to a fastgrowing organization, as a team member and as an individual.
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook), SharePoint, and Oracle, SmartSheet (additional asset).
  • APICS certification is a plus.
  • Confidence working in a hybrid team environment, and across different cultures and time zones.
