The Job Scope

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers;
  • Manage container freight from different origins;
  • Obtain and analyse relevant market information;
  • Participate in tenders and strive for profits.
Education, Experience and Skills

  • 4 to 10 years of experience in the commodities market, preferably in sugar;
  • Strong understanding of commodities markets and hedging structures;
  • Degree in economics, finance, business, or agriculture;
  • Fluent in English and French is an advantage;
  • Proficient in risk management and market analysis;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Familiarity with ITAS is preferred but not necessary;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Demonstrated interest in diverse cultures.
