    The Department of Actuarial Science of the Faculty of Business and Economics is looking for a Graduate Assistant in Actuarial Science.

    Start date:
    September 1, 2024

    Contract duration: 1 year. The contract can be renewed for 2 x 2 years. The total maximum funding period is 5 years.

    Type of position: 80%

    Your responsibilities
    50% of the time will be dedicated to completion of doctoral studies in actuarial science.

    50% of the assistant's time will be dedicated to teaching, administrative (including exam supervision), technical and research support for the department.


    Your qualifications
    Master of Science (MSc) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
    Desire to deepen the knowledge in actuarial science through research and to write a doctoral thesis in actuarial science.
    Fluency in English. Basic understanding of French is a plus.
    Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
