The team:


The team in Switzerland is composed of 10 Portfolio Managers and is part of a larger network of Managers located in Luxemburg, Monaco, Germany, Portugal, Hong-Kong and Singapore.

It covers all main asset classes and manages a wide range of strategies.

It is involved in the management of the assets, is client facing and is very involved in the business development alongside commercial teams.


Main roles:


Participate to the investment process:

  • Be involved in the local asset allocation committee and be an active member of both the Equity and the Fund committees.
  • Contribute to the analysis, selection and follow up of our investments in Funds and in Equities.
  • Take an active role in the Management of the CHF investment solutions and contribute to the Model Portfolios construction and documentation.
  • Monitor closely financial Markets and get a thorough understanding of the instruments invested or to be discussed in the committees.
  • In particular, analyse and cover one or more sectors for the Equity committee or some long only and alternative funds for the Fund committee. Liaise with the asset managers and proactively propose changes in the portfolios.
  • Contribute to the quantitative analysis of the investable universe.
  • Contribute to the constant improvement of the investment process.

Portfolio management:

  • Be responsible for the performance and the risk exposure of the portfolios/strategies entrusted to her/him. Monitor the performance attribution/contribution. Be able to understand the behaviour of the portfolios/strategies and generate investment ideas.
  • Manage autonomously tailor made mandates with respect to the client risk profile and specific constraints. Remain within the investable investment universe.
  • Rigorous implementation of the Bank's investment guidelines and of regulations.
  • Be in charge of clients reporting preparation in a clear, didactic and precise manner.

Promote Discretionary Portfolio Management:

  • Participate regularly to client meetings, portfolio reviews and performance explanation.
  • Produce tailor made investment proposals for clients or prospects according to their profile and to their need.
  • Participate to the promotion and to the image of excellence of the team and of the Bank
  • Be able on demand to make presentations of the range of products or to respond to Institutional or complex Requests for Proposals (RFP).
  • Take part or lead development projects entrusted to her/him

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Master's degree in Economics, business, finance, investment or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in investment and asset management.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management
  • Previous experience in managing multi asset strategies, funds of funds and Equities portfolios,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, French is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • High interest in economic and financial market trends
  • Exceptional customer service with a strong client focus
