The Centre for Health and Healthcare (CHH) engages stakeholders in new models of public-private partnership to identify and scale-up solutions for more resilient, efficient, and equitable healthcare systems to keep populations healthy and deliver the best care.

The Forum's Health and Healthcare community brings together leaders from the world's top healthcare providers, insurers, pharma, med-tech to engage in key global issues with other stakeholders, including government leaders, CEOs and senior executives from adjacent industries, heads of international organizations, academics, experts, thought leaders and representatives from civil society.


Working with the Head of the Centre and Head of Health & Healthcare Industry, the Programming & Community Lead will be responsible to work with the Global Programming team and Head of Event Editorial to act as CHH's liaison in order to facilitate top notch delivery and execution of health & healthcare sessions at the global and regional events such as AM, AMNC, SDIM etc.

The Lead is also responsible to understand key strategic issues, develop shared priorities for positive healthcare system impact and develop a meaningful and action-oriented portfolio of specific community engagements and collaborative efforts to address these priorities.

The Community Lead will build an active and cohesive community of Chief Health officers (CHO), well aligned with our health & healthcare initiatives and strongly engaging companies in our portfolio of activities to provide value to partners.

We are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a future facing outlook on health systems globally.

Reporting Lines & Interactions


This position will report directly to Head of the Centre and will be an integral part of the broader CHH team.

The role is expected to work closely and extensively with both Forum internal teams and external stakeholders such as current and potential private sector partners, governments, international organizations, civil society organizations, research institutions and academia.


Breakdown of main responsibilities:


Event management and logistics (50%)- Manage event planning and logistics for relevant global Forum meetings and regional events, as well as external workshops and partner meetings as it relates to health & healthcare agenda and sessions.

Community curation and engagement (50%)- Develop and curate a cross-sector community of Chief Health Officers. Facilitate ongoing CHO community dialogue to develop shared strategic goals and priorities for collective action to achieve these outcomes.

Program Curation- Lead the program curation and narrative development of the Centre for Health and Healthcare programs at Forum institutional events (e.g.

Annual Meeting, Annual Meeting of New Champions, Sustainable Development Impact Summit, Growth Summit), collaborating with Centre teams and working closely with Global Programming counterpart(s).

Lead the design, development, and delivery of flagship Centre events, working closely with Centre program teams. Be the focal point between the Centre and the Forum Programming team- Delivery of successful in-person and digital convenings (e.g., facilitated workshops, sessions related to regional and global events, etc.)- Ability to develop, manage, and coordinate a community, ensuring meaningful engagement opportunities that result in partner retention- Developing a clear and compelling value proposition for the CHO Community- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and assess collaboration opportunities in different contexts- Establishing strong collaboration with the Global Programming, Global Industries and Partner Services teams of the Forum- Efficiency and effectiveness in the use of knowledge tools and products

Preferred Requirements and Experience- Advanced university degree (Masters or PhD) in a relevant field (public health, health economics, international development or science)- 5-7 Years of experience in a relevant field (strategy consulting, stakeholder management, international organizations), preferably in an international context- Excellent coordination, project management and event planning skills with demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams to deliver against tight deadlines- Demonstrated ability to curate and manage an engaged community of highest-level stakeholders, to build trusted relationships and sustain engagement- Outstanding communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English; verbal and written proficiency in other languages would be an asset- Comfortable communicating with senior leaders across the public and private sectorsWhy work at the Forum:
