Regional Site Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary:


We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative leader to join us as a Regional Site Manager / Supervisor as part of the Managed Services EMEA organization.

The Regional Site Supervisor is responsible for supporting the rapid growth of Thermo Fisher Scientific by leading a multi country customer service operation and developing process & system solutions for Managed Services EMEA that address the needs of Thermo Fisher's internal
- and external customers in the EMEA market.


Responsibilities:


  • Leads and supports the Managed Services EMEA journey and geographical expansion by developing systems, processes, handling SOPs and forming teams across multiple countries in Europe.
  • Mentors, coaches, and develops team leads and teams 15 FTE (located at different customer sites across Europe)
  • Ensures continued efficiency to set up the team for success with growing volume and complexity.
  • Provides leadership for the Managed Services EMEA process across facilities' operations, logistics, and customer service.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive customer service solutions covering aspects of order management, supplier management and logistics that are scalable and provides clear alignment across all departments.
  • Identifies, initiates, and leads projects using appropriate project management expertise and methodologies.
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates any potential supply interruptions, performs required corrective measurements or brings up to next level support.
  • Defines and analyzes key performance metrics and trends to drive improvements in order management.
  • Run optimal operation using a Leader Standard Work and preparing critical metric reports.
  • Lead the customer experience journey.
How will you get there?

To succeed in the role you should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, and customer service.
  • 8+ years of customer service, operations or supply chain experience, preferably in a high dynamic environment leading people located at different customer sites and countries.
  • 5+ years of management experience forming teams while coaching and leading people managers.
  • Excellent communicator and (meeting) facilitator skills.
  • Experience in life sciences industry such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices.
  • Maintain a high level of staff safety.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Comfortable in a fastpaced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment, works with mínimal direction.
  • Demonstrates collaboration and respect, focuses on delivering value, and adopts learning and continues improvement.
  • Possess excellent organizational and social skills, be able to communicate concisely and in a timely manner to clients' requests.
  • Willing to travel within Europe up to 25%.
  • Capable to adapt to changing circumstances, can implement change in a positive manner
  • Customer focused, result and performance driven.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Fluent in English and German.
