We Offer

  • A meaningful and interesting role in the Tax Business Experts team of GWM Tax Operations covering a wide range of services and obligations as
  • Support of U.S. Qualified Intermediary tax reporting which includes the attention handling of system warnings and exceptions, the reconciliation and in case of differences corrections or subsequent explanations and the presentation to internal and external auditors.
  • Providing Tax formalities to custodians and counterparties in different investment markets.
  • Tax monitoring and analysis of worldwide tax changes including ensuring of subsequent amendments and/or implementation of processes and systems.
  • Analysis and offering of tailormade services (mostly relating to withholding tax reclaim and relief at source).
  • Investigating tax product and processrelated questions in close collaboration with tax experts, reporting/reclaim specialists, and data analysts.
  • Support the implementation of tax projects in your area and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for the operational business.
  • Ensure efficient communication with internal and external partners in Switzerland and abroad e.g. custodian banks in different local markets
  • Continuously optimizing the processes and tools to further enhance the data quality and process efficiency.

  • You Offer
The following skillset will enable you to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree, apprenticeship in banking and 3+ years of experience, or equivalent further education in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 3 years practical experience in operations/back office in the financial industry
  • Knowledge of different withholding tax and operational taxes regimes
  • Understanding of worldwide custodian concepts
  • Know-How of tax formalities
  • Experience in QI reporting and processing
  • Tax experience in banking, trading/transfers
  • Understanding of securities master data
  • Excellent problemsolving, conceptual, and analytical skills and a cando attitude
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills for various stakeholders including management
  • Fluency in German and English (written and verbal)
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
