Internship - Aerodynamic Engineering - 6 months

Our "Stress Engineering Department" Team is looking for a strong technical profile to support us in delivering aerodynamic models and simulations.

Under immediate supervision of the tutor and using templates and guidelines, you will have the opportunity to gain professional experience in an interesting and challenging working environment.

Description/Tasks:

Evaluate all the Loading conditions for a Part 23 aircraft following current CS23 regulations.
Perform initial aerodynamic analysis using a free code based on Vortex Lattice method to define all load conditions (gust, ground ).
Perform Aeroelasticity Analysis
Evaluate the differences between initial aerodynamic analysis (Vortex Lattice method) and CFD using Start CCM+. Propose correction factors
Participate in tools generation, methods and guidelines definition
Comply with work and safety regulations
Opportunities to participate in rapid decompression, acoustic and stress activities

Qualification/Experience:

Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering (Matriculation during the entire internship period / University recommendation is required).
Aviation background and Acoustic experience preferred
Programming and CAD experience recommended
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, forward thinking and selfmotivated team player
Language English (mandatory), French and/or German (optional)
