Senior Manager, Human Resources

YOUR ROLE:

As Senior Manager HR, you will serve as the HR business partner providing generalist support for all business functions.

You will oversee HR operations and play a part in a the delivery of an array of People-related activities including employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, year-end review processes, onboarding, offboarding and training.

Additionally you will have the opportunity to participate in cross functional projects. You will work directly for the Head of HR Operations and continually look for innovative HR solutions and enhancements.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Provide HR support and advice to the organization, as a primary point of contact responding to requests, analyzing situations, interpreting policies and guidelines and recommending practical and effective solutions.
  • Lead reviews of our total reward package including health, pension and retirement plans, and insurances
  • Conduct market research for new opportunities, negotiate with providers and implement new plans when relevant, and train the team on offered benefits
  • Design, run and improve the performance review process and development activities, enhancing the ability of managers and staff to provide constructive feedback, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Lead the annual compensation review
  • Educate employees on HR policies and practices through regular updates and training sessions
  • Work closely with leadership stakeholders to ensure positive work relationships, to foster positive work relationships throughout the organization, increase productivity and retention
  • Act as a trusted advisor and manage complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Stay current on HR related regulations and best practices, and anticipate and address organizational issues and challenges
  • Ideally, oversee payroll management including compliance with legal requirements
  • Run the HR operations department ensuring efficient and effective HR services delivery
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding

WHO YOU ARE:


  • You have 10 years of experience as an HR expert including leading HR in a medium sized global company with entities in the US and Switzerland
  • You have a degree in Human Resources (HR), Eidgenössischer Fachausweis Personalwesen or equivalent and knowledge of Swiss and US labor law (German and UK and law a plus)
  • You bring a proven track record of HR project development and management
  • You have a natural interest to align people's roles and responsibilities to the business
  • A selfstarter with a strong ability to prioritize, drive initiatives, and quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as the ability to deliver highquality outputs under deadline pressure
  • You have worked in a high growth organization and enjoy a fast paced environment where you lead and drive initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and German
  • Flexible to work in a hybrid environment
