For our international medical partner, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd.

in Basel, we are looking for a qualified and motivated
Local Cutover Lead for a temporary contract of 12 months.


ASPIRE is an enterprise-wide global business transformation program that will harmonize, simplify all core E2E processes across Roche and enable their execution from standardized IT- Landscape with SAP S/4HANA being at the core.


This Global Template is being rolled-out in Waves and Local Cutover Lead will be a key member of Roche (Basel/KAU) Wave Deployment Team, driving the local cutover activities of the assigned function (Pharma Supply Chain - PTS ) within the main program.

In this role, the Local Cutover Lead is a member of the PTS Local Deployment Team.

Cutover Lead ensures that the local cutover phase in this S/4 Hana Deployment Project is planned and executed in accordance with expectations, leading to a smooth go-live, without any major disruption to business.

The role ensures that all aspects of relevant end-to-end processes, partner systems are taken into account and planned & executed in local cutover.

The role will work closely with the project stakeholders (incl. external where appropriate).

Core & Wave Project counterparts to ensure all local elements (system, process, data, people) are aligned, sequenced and documented as required.

The Local Cutover Lead will support the Local Deployment Lead and related E2E streams in their activities and ensure clear communications, updates and reporting.


Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Lead and drive local cutover activities (business planning, dry runs, rampdown, rampup and status tracking, reporting)
  • Develop and own the detailed cutover plan, cutover runbooks encompassing activities, timelines, resources, and
dependencies and share in wider communications (internal and external)

  • Manage the scope and schedule of cutover activities
  • Coordinate and track cutover activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables
develop mitigation plans.

  • Run readiness and Go/No-Go assessments in conjunction with the Deployment Lead
  • Coordinate proactive supply planning to ensure supply coverage during rampdown and blackout periods
  • Provide detailed backout options for severe contingencies
  • Liaise with the functional experts, business teams, work stream leads (Testing, data,training.) in order to assist
with the planning and execution of Cutover activities.

  • Support functional teams as they define the local requirements, plans and execution
  • Coordinate the local dependencies between business, IT, data (incl. data remediation)
  • Monitor data and cutover progress and communicate to leadership team, key stakeholders including status,
progress, issues, etc.

  • Proactively engage and energize the team members to build and execute the Cutover Plan as per targeted
timelines

  • Participate in Cutover Council Meetings, activities to represent the function as Spoc

Must Haves:


  • Bachelors Degree or Masters degree, preferably in business
  • At least 6 years of handson experience in managing cutover phases in SAP/IT projects involving multi
- disciplinary teams (**)

  • Strong understanding of business interdependencies (ideally in supply chain, planning, logistics) with cutover activities for largescale project
  • Familiar with Leadership role(s)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in use of project management tools and techniques
  • Coaching/supporting teams
  • Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, team members and external 3rd parties
  • Project Management tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Solman.)
  • Familiarity with SAP Deployment and Cutover methodology
  • Presentation, reporting, office apps
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to work in a multicultural environment
  • Handson attitude and solution finder
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate at any hierarchical level
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines/pressure
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Problem solving skills that use techniques to identify the root cause of the issue and then ability to clearly communicate (verbal/orally) this position
  • English fluent (written/spoken). German is a plus
