Basic Job Responsibilities:


The Regional/Associate Director will lead a team of Customer Account Managers responsible for managing all aspects of new spare part sales to customers in the EMEA & CIS region.

This is a very fast-paced, dynamic role that requires global cross-functional coordination and cooperation. Position located in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Lead the timely resolution of customer requests by effectively coordinating teamwork across core functions residing in the U.S. such as Supply Chain/Delivery Assurance, Planning, Quality, Shipping, Finance, IT Export, and Legal.


Ensure CARs coordinate all aspects of customer order management including order review and recommendations on acceptance, processing orders on-line as necessary, processing quotes, communicating parts availability and pricing information, delivery schedules, and expedite requests.

Support CARs with day-to-day operational issues with their customers.

Participate on / lead off hours customer support conference calls.

Ensure effective use of standard work processes and procedures.

Ensure positive customer feedback (MFA) as it relates to spare parts delivery performance. Develop corresponding corrective action and communications plans.

Develop an understanding of the customer's business, processes, and systems to help create and maintain a competitive advantage.

Establish regular financial projections / updates by customer to be incorporated into the sales forecast

Responsible for formulating and meeting an annual budget for the region.

Review and develop customer specific Sales & Business Development Strategies for the Asia-Pacific region. Participate in periodic discounting/incentive decisions.


Identify, develop, communicate, negotiate, and sell customer-specific incentive opportunities, including material kits that keep fleets flying and capture incremental business.


Participate in the negotiation of new contracts, initiate the assignment of existing contracts, and review and approve proposed modifications to existing contract terms and conditions.


Coordinate and provide customers with full materials management solutions (new/used/overhauled/surplus material alternatives as needed) and coordinate with customers whether to replace scrap with new or used parts.


Review market data and in collaboration with the Managing Director and Controller and make recommendations on a regional pricing strategy.

Discuss and review matters in Technical Service Bulletins with customers as needed.


Participate on Material Strategy Teams designed to: (1) Protect and grow current markets and keep the fleets flying and (2) Address pricing pressures and alternative offerings.


Education:

BS/BA in business or related field required. MBA preferred.


Experience/Qualifications:

7-10+ years related experience preferred.

3-5 years supervisory experience and/or leadership roles (e.g., Team Lead)

Knowledge of engine and part nomenclature, engine maintenance and overhaul procedures and familiarity with

Engine operation and assembly methods preferred.

Prior experience working with customers required.

Good written and verbal communications skills required.

Demonstrate written, verbal and some presentation skills with external customers and internal P&W business units.

Demonstrated process-oriented approach to problem solving required; demonstrated ACE experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to drive process, process improvements, and standard work.

Ability to represent P&W Material International to mid and upper-level management at customer sites and favorably

resolve complex issues

Ability to lead projects and assigned tasks and cross functional teams.

Flexibility and willingness to work off-hours required.

Solid working knowledge of SAP preferred.
