Technical Project Manager

for ropeway projects in India 100% (f/m)
Bartholet Maschinenbau AG, headquartered in Flums, Switzerland, is a leading international company with
more than 450 employees in the fields of cable car and amusement park installations, solar installations,
airport lighting systems, mechanical engineering and modern metal processing.

As part of the expansion of our team, we are looking to recruit a technical project manager for
ropeway projects in India 100% (f/m).

India is expected to be the globally fastest growing ropeway market over the coming years with +250 projects
in planning. Bartholet Maschinenbau AG is proud to have won the contract supplying the first urban ropeway
in India. For this project as well as future projects we are looking for an addition to our team.

Main Tasks
›
Execution of ropeway projects in a high performing team,
from contract signing to handover of the installation to client
›
Supervise budgets, time lines and quality
›
Organising clients' requests and feedback: filter, process and pass on to the Bartholet
teams (Engineering, Logistics, Production, Quality, etc.)
›
Hands on project management, ensure the project's success by going the extra mile and
push critical topics
›
Directly in charge for integral ropeway components (e.g. Control system, Rope)
›
Preparation of project-specific planning documents as well as documentation for authority submissions
›
Coordination of the project participants on site
›
Cost forecast and support controlling in the project

Requirements profile
›
Technical background in the field of mechanical engineering or construction, technical college or
university degree required
›
Several years of experience in mechanical and/or plant engineering and/or construction projects,
proven track record in Project Management of complex technical projects
›
An organised and logical approach to solving problems
›
Using own initiative to make decisions and highlight opportunities
›
A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, prioritising workload
›
Good communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with all
departments and key stakeholders at all levels
›
Fluent in English; Proficiency in Hindi, Urdu or any native Indian language
(preferably spoken in the region of Uttar Pradesh); German is an advantage;
›
Willingness to travel up to 50%
