To work on the research project:"Sensory Uncertainty in Sensorimotor Control"


The PhD student will collaborate with a postdoctoral researcher as well as other PhD students working in related research areas.

The PhD position is funded for four years.

Tasks

  • Planning, preparing and conducting experiments in the sensorimotor lab of the institute
  • Evaluating collected data with advanced statistical methods
  • Presenting at colloquia and at national and international conferences
  • Publishing in international scientific journals for a cumulative PhD thesis

Requirements:


  • Excellent Master's degree in sport science, movement science, cognitive science, psychology or related fields
  • Very good knowledge of empirical research methods and statistics
  • Good programming skills, ideally experience in analysis and modelling (Python, Julia and/or Matlab) as well as content generation (Unreal Engine)
  • Profound experience with motioncapture and eyetracking methods as an advantage
  • Very good language skills in German or English
  • Teamorientation, commitment, and ability to work independently
