CAMO Manager NPCA & Safety Manager

Objectives for the job:

As Safety Manager acts as the primary reference point for safety management issues in the organization. Actively works to prevent workplace accidents and promotes health and safety awareness and education to fellow employees.


Job Responsibilities CAMO Manager NPCA:


  • Responsible for all continuing airworthiness functions.
  • Create and update approval documents (i.e. CAME).
  • Independently dealing with various Aviation national authorities.
  • Establish and keep updated Aircraft Maintenance Programs.
  • Scheduled Maintenance Planning for both line and base.
  • Build comprehensive work package for effective aircraft turnaround times.
  • AOG Coordination/Management.
  • Technical Records administration and storage.
  • CAMP and other maintenance tracking tools update.
  • MEL creation, review and amendments.
  • Aircraft storage support.
  • Airworthiness Directive, Service Bulletin and CDCCL assessments.
  • Life Limited Parts Control and Management.
  • Subpart I Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC & Extension) for EASA registered aircraft _(for later decision if applicant fulfils the requirement and/or is developed for this position)._
  • As NATR will present the AC to the NAA for surveys for nonEASA registered aircraft _(for later decision if applicant fulfils the requirement and/or is developed for this position)._
  • Engine Condition Monitoring Services.
  • Manage of Approved Modification and Repairs to EASA part 21 standards.
  • Support Audits.
  • Pre-Buy Inspection support.
  • Technical acceptance support for new aircraft to join the CAMO.
  • Perform Airworthiness review inspection on non__CAMO managed aircrafts.
  • Issue Permit to fly

_ Job Responsibilities Safety Manager:
_


  • Ensure that the SMS is properly established and implemented.
  • Work with the Accountable Manager to ensure that safety goals are established for the relevant
hazards, functions, and levels within the Service Center, and that they are measured and
- consistent with the Service Network safety performance indicators.

  • Provide feedback to the Accountable Manager on status of reported hazards, mitigating actions
and their effectiveness.

  • Ensure that each location has a documented procedure for hazard identification / reporting, risk
assessment, mitigating action development and follow up.

  • Ensure that safety records which provide evidence of conformance to requirements and effective
operation of the SMS are controlled, providing as necessary for identification, storage, retrieval,
- protection, retention time, and disposition.

  • Ensure that an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is properly established, implemented, and
maintained.

  • Facilitate the Safety Committee
  • Ensure Mandatory Occurrence / Defect Reports (MODR's) are accomplished, and internal
investigations are conducted / followed up.

  • Lead and coordinate investigations of accidents and incidents, quality alerts and escapes, and
maintenance error occurrences

  • Provide for SMS training to all staff as applicable with support from the SMS Training Coordinator
  • Prepare information with the Service Center Management team, for discussion and update at the
monthly Safety Compliance and Assurance Review (SCAR), which shall include updates on safety

performance and safety actions from the Safety Committee.


Key Requirements:


  • Fulfils the Part-CAMO / Part-M Subpart G & I requirements and be accepted by the competent authority as NPCA/ARS i.a.w. M.A.706/CAMO.A.30
  • Fundamental knowledge of the commission regulation 216/2008, 1321/2014 all its alterations and amendments, the associated rules, requirements and processes.
  • Practical experience and expertise regarding aircraft maintenance and aviation safety standards.
  • 10 years' experience in business aviation maintenance, Part-CAMO will be advantageous.
  • Part 66 Cat B/C License with >5 Textron Aviation type ratings.
  • Current with Fuel Tank Safety Phase 1&2, EWIS and Human Factors.
  • Friendly and customeroriented approach.
  • Able to work independently and manage direct reports.
  • Auditor experience

  • High education of science and administration in aviation, i.e Bac
