Your field of responsibility
We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join us as Operational Risk Manager within the 2nd line of defense.

Your responsibilities are to assess, monitor, and provide independent opinion on Cyber & Technology Risk globally and with focus on Swiss legal entities.

Your portfolio will cover strategic initiatives, technology simplification, risk appetite, and providing business contextual relevancy of cyber & technology risks.

You will also be responsible to prepare materials for and engage with local regulators for supervisory monitoring and regulatory exams and represent Cyber & Technology Risk in risk committees.

Other regionally focused responsibilities include review and challenge of the operational resilience of critical processes and identifying resilience gaps or responses.

As part of the global Cyber & Technology team, you will perform global thematic deep dive reviews, resulting in concrete actions to reduce risk exposure, and actively drive the Cyber & Technology risk appetite assessment process.

Cyber & Technology Risk is a 2nd line of defense function within the Chief Risk Officer division.

The globally located team brings together skillsets and background in cyber and information security, technical engineering, software development, IT risk and controls, and a variety of other 1st and 2nd line backgrounds.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience with risk frameworks, including risk appetite assessments
  • Experience with regulatory response and interactions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and relationship building skills. Demonstrate proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure
  • Interest in driving a technology risk management culture with key business and IT teams; ability to translate risk assessments into clear, actionable feedback for business partners
  • Understanding of technology risk / cyber security frameworks (such as NIST)
  • Understanding of operational resilience and 3rd party risk management fundamentals preferable
  • BS degree
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
