As a Junior Java Developer at Ivy Partners, you will be expected to:
- Rapidly integrate and contribute to the ongoing and future development of our platform and/or the one of our clients.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java code in a timely manner.
- Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure that development aligns with business objectives.
- Develop a robust technical foundation in Java and related technologies, and exhibit a willingness to evolve into a technical functional expert role.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to foster a creative and innovative environment.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development to suggest improvements for enhanced system performance.
About you You are our ideal candidate if:
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in Java development.
- You possess a solid background in backend development with Java, Spring, Spring Boot Data, Hibernate, and relational databases.
- You are skilled in working with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design.
- You demonstrate a keen interest in enhancing your understanding of the business domains relevant to the projects.
- You have excellent communication skills and are capable of engaging with stakeholders and distributed teams effectively.
- You are a problem-solver who thinks creatively and adapts to evolving business and technology landscapes.
