For our BioProcess Development department, we are looking for a

Role

During your internship you will be working on the development of a combinatorial process strategy for the purification of a novel therapeutic molecule using state-of the art technologies thus enabling the recovery of a valuable protein from human plasma.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Planning, execution, and documentation of experiments
• Data evaluation
• Chromatography (Affinity, AEX, HIC, MMC)
• Column Packing
• UF/DF
• Filtration
• Virus inactivation and reduction
• Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DoE) studies
• Use of digital tools, ELN, data analytics and visualization software (JMP)

Qualifications & Experience:

As the successful candidate, you hold a B.Sc. and you are currently enrolled as a Master Student in a scientific degree such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology (or related discipline).

• Experience with chromatography is an advantage
• Teamwork as well as ability to work independently
• Display interest in the field of therapeutics
• Pro-active, curious, and analytical attitude
• Strong communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
