Americas Aftermarket is an entity comprised of two additive profit & loss channels, which have strong interconnectivity across the other GBE's.

This includes contract administration, customer support, technical support, billing, subscription management, service activation & provisioning and a strong input to system architecture and design.


The Sr Director, Customer Business Aftermarket will report to the COO, Aftermarket BGA and matrixed to the Vice President for BGA EMEAI.

This is an exciting and dynamic role located in Rolle, Switzerland and is responsible for managing the operational performance for our long-term aftermarket business for both BGA (Business and General Aviation), and ATR (Air Transport)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all HIS (Honeywell International SARL) activities associated with HAPR (Honeywell Aerospace Puerto Rico)
  • Provide appropriate support for ATR and BGA business approvals for AAM (Americas After Market)
  • Review all the nonstandard MSP deals and approve them in a timely manner
  • Review all the MSP contracts and approve them on behalf of HIS
  • Any postimplementation customer issues associated with HIS/HAPR should be tracked and work with the implementation team for resolution
  • Partner with CBT, Contracts and Finance to track and manage contract performance, claims and reserves.
  • ACAT review and approvals for HAPR business
  • Review any EMEAI/APAC customer related customer issues related to HAPR/HIS business including parts availability, engines availability, and appropriately resolve them by working with the cross functional organizations
  • Partner with Program Management, C&PS and other Honeywell functions to provide support for Global customer and internal communication with respect to HAPR changes including contract novation, change in bank accounts and
  • Contact key customers when MSP hours are not reported and/or for MSP hourly payments
  • Work with 3rd party subcontract team to prioritize customer contacts
  • Review and approval of reinstatements and sales opportunities
  • This role will work on an expanded basis to support future phases of HAPR
  • Provide required reports/metrics on a weekly, monthly, annual basis to many different customers
  • Support "Adhoc" requests for cost information from multiple functions (quality, engineering, GBE, CBT, C&PS, pricing, sales, etc.)
Relocation or a long-term assignment package is included for this role.


YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
  • 10+ years experience
  • One or more Crossfunctional experience (Sales, CBT, Offering Management, C&PS, Engineering or ISC)
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

  • Aerospace domain knowledge, specifically product knowledge aligned with the position's focus area, and understanding of aftermarket dynamics in BGA.
  • Strong business acumen & analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations and identify ways to simplify
  • Ability to lead, collaborate and influence the broader organization to achieve organizational and business objectives while maintaining effective relationships
  • Experience with financial modeling, deal development, green sheets, pursuits, and closure
  • Experience in developing and executing strategy, including program management
  • Ability to think critically and strategically in order to scope tasks and achieve results
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Use market dynamics and strategic marketing information to advantage
  • AOP achievement experience, including experience managing a P&L
  • Selfmotivated to find rapid and creative responses to customer and analytical requests
  • Exposure to customer and product support, quality, audit, product troubleshooting, and contract functions
  • Good understanding of aftermarket accounting
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a large volume of requests and perform multiple tasks with mínimal supervision
  • High standards of ethics and highly motivated selfstarter
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes to meet tight deadlines
  • 2+ years experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
