Our client is a well known European Energy producer with subsidiaries worldwide.

The company recently opened its Trading office in Zug.

This brings opportunity to work in a growing company with a start-up environment combined with a sound financial backing of an established and profitable international energy group.

They are ramping up operations in Switzerland and hiring additional members to complete their finance team.

Currently we are looking for an


Accountant 100%:


Task and responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Perform monthly and ad hoc bank reconciliations
  • Be responsible for processing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the Group according to IFRS and the statutory financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations
  • Perform daily general ledger and subledger entries in consultation/coordination with the Senior Accountant
  • Assist in the regular reconciliation of IC balances including the allocation of intragroup services
  • Support the Senior Accountant in analysing the financial statements (monthly, quarterly and annually) and assist in the preparation of forecasts / budgets
  • Assist with special tasks and various projects in the CFO area
  • Ensure and further develop of accounting processes and the internal control system (ICS)
  • Support internal and external audits

Your profile

Must haves:
years of experience in a similar role

  • Independence, reliability and accuracy in your work
  • Organised, goaloriented and flexible
  • A degree or professional certification in Finance or Accounting
- experiences with accounting standards (IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations)
- profound Excel skills
- accurate with numbers

  • Experience in an international organization
  • Advanced knowledge of English language, German would be an asset
  • Preferably experience with Abacus or another ERP system
  • EU/EFTA Permit B
