Hug Engineering AG is a leading global manufacturer of exhaust aftertreatment systems for diesel.




Position Summary:




  • Plans and conducts Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and supplier audits closely coordinated with the International Welding Engineer (IWE)
  • Acts as a connection between the supplier and the HUG organization (R&D, PM) to synchronize on technical matters
  • Ensures timely preparation and storage of quality documentation by the supplier for projects
  • Manages 8D processes in collaboration with suppliers
  • Assists procurement in selecting new suppliers

Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Proficient in Quality Management System (PDCA), FMEA, and 8D analysis
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, additional languages are beneficial
  • Team player with the ability to work in a diverse, international environment
  • Positive attitude and a customer-centric approach
  • Solution-oriented and proactive with keen attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel as required by project demands
