Technical Buyer

Your area of responsibility | Reporting directly to the head of the Purchasing department, you will be responsible for the monitoring and development of electro-technical and electronic components as well as other commodity groups. You will be responsible for achieving cost, quality and delivery targets, taking into account the specific needs of the company and the current market situation. You will contribute to ensuring an optimal supplier base in terms of costs, quality, security of supply and adherence to delivery dates for series production. You will also independently represent procurement and logistics aspects in the development and engineering departments and thus ensure the economic procurement of components. If necessary, you will also evaluate and negotiate the best agreements with suppliers and ensure the greatest possible transparency in the supply chain. If necessary, you introduce corrective measures in good time and actively accompany them until they are fully implemented. You will inform the relevant internal departments about procurement projects and the current situation on the procurement markets. You will spend 10 to 20% of your time travelling to suppliers.


Your personality | Technical or commercial basic training at CFC level, ideally supplemented by further training as an FA purchasing specialist or comparable. You have initial professional experience in the operational purchasing of electrical or electronic products in an industrial production company. You have experience in dealing with suppliers. You have good IT skills (ERP, MS Office, Internet). You are a buyer who thinks and acts like an entrepreneur, with an acute awareness of costs and a healthy ability to assert yourself. You speak French or German as your native language and you make yourself understood in the other language. English complements your linguistic fluency.
