Mission:

To actively participate in the rapid testing and validation of innovative technology ideas and concepts at Climeworks, ensuring reliable results.

You will play a crucial role in the development and management of Measurements and System Analysis within the Climeworks DAC Test Facilities, contributing significantly to technological advancements.

Responsibilities:

You will assist with investigations into the desorption process step, focusing specifically on steam velocity and distribution in our test facilities, to enhance our understanding and improve efficiency.
You will conduct comprehensive literature reviews and market research to identify and evaluate potential measurement methods for wet steam velocity.
You will check various methods with respect to suitability for steam velocity detection in our process, such as anemometry, hot wire anemometry, and laser Doppler anemometry, and execute the appropriate ones.
You will coordinate and maintain effective communication with relevant collaborators, ensuring alignment and efficiency across the Technology Team and Workshop Team Testing.
You have completed a BsC in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Process Engineering, Material Science, or a relevant field, and are either currently enrolled in a degree program or have recently graduated (within the last year).
You are available for a fulltime 6month internship.
You possess sound knowledge of testing process designs on small and medium scales, as well as a strong foundation in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
You demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and creativity, especially when working with unknown or incomplete information.
You are reliable, performancedriven, and maintain a structured working style.
You thrive in both fastpaced team environments and when working independently.
You are fluent in English, having German skills would be an advantage.
