The World Economic Forum, is the international organization for public-private cooperation which engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas, committed to improving the state of the world.


To complete our Talent Acquisition team, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Talent Attraction professional who will be responsible for building a compelling EVP and Employer Brand and for designing and executing the WEF's recruitment marketing and outreach strategy, globally.


As the Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing Lead, reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will work with the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers to establish the WEF as a global lighthouse for top Talent.


This position is based out of our headquarters in Geneva and would require you to relocate to Geneva if you are not based there.


More specifically, you will:

  • Partner closely with People and Culture, and business leaders to shape the Forum's global EVP and employer brand, and to set the vision and action plan to establish the WEF as an employer of choice, creating a harmonized story across our markets whilst protecting local cultural nuances.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Leads and P&C partners to translate Strategic Workforce Planning outcomes into Employer Branding activities. Explore future skills and resourcing needs to create spotlights on key jobs across the WEF to answer skills and pipeline needs. Analyse workforce plans, hiring reports and open requisition reports to develop recruitment marketing recommendations, and insights to recommend campaigns.
  • Work with TA leads to design and build innovative campus strategic partnership strategies to enable the attraction and selection of the top diverse talent from across schools and universities, and meeting our local market focus area needs
  • Collaborate with the Talent team in DEI initiatives and work with internal networks, and Employee Resource groups on strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Create an annual editorial strategy for the Careers website and optimize and design the WEF careers website landing pages for conversion including curation and alignment of content, posting stories and campaigns to ensure website is live, updated, and an active portal of information
  • Define, analyse, and communicate metrics and ROI data that demonstrate effectiveness and success of recruitment marketing campaigns. Measure and manage fullfunnel efficiency metrics and reporting to deliver operational excellence and engagement to highlight our success story.

We would expect you to have:

  • A university degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in HR marketing, communications, or employer branding, preferably with a strong online/campaign background
You should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • A deep understanding of multiple recruitment markets (including Europe, North America, and/or China, Japan or India), with examples of partnering with local resources to reinforce your understanding of them.
  • An ability to build meaningful stories with comprehensive data for novice and expert audiences
  • A clear understanding of campus recruitment, events, and engagement strategies
  • Experience with social media, branding, and/or general 'call to action' marketing efforts
  • Experience working with/managing creative designs (to includes video, social media, writing, photos, graphics, etc.)
  • Mastery of Search engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) best practices
