    Freelance Transfer Tour Director Are you a morning person? Are you flexible and enjoy meeting new people? Do you enjoy working with people? Are you service minded? EF Educational Tours is one of EF's products providing educational group travel to students all over the world. The role A Transfer Tour Director (TTD)'s role is to pick up the group and accompany them from the airport to their main Tour Director and vice versa. A TTD is needed when groups are arriving on different flights and the main Tour Director cannot pick up all their groups at the same time. The types of transfers you will lead will include terminal to terminal transfers, airport to city transfers by coach or public transportation. You may also be required to accompany departure transfers from the hotel to the airport at the end of the tour. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • · Being part of a pool of freelance TTDs covering transfers throughout the week and weekends
    • · Available for shifts of between 3 to 8 hours
    • · Meeting groups of students and accompanying adults at the airport
    • · Be the face of EF and represent the company at all times
    • · Transferring groups via coach and/or public transport
    • · Connecting with the group's Tour Director before and during the transfer
    • · Communicating with the group at the airport by welcoming them and giving out important safety & practical information.
    • · Communicating with suppliers and EF Operations before and during the transfer where applicable
    • · Ensuring the safety of the group and their belongings
    • · Purchasing local transportation tickets and handling payments where applicable
    Requirements:
    • · Fluent written & spoken English
    • · You must be based in one of the following locations: Berlin, Frankfurt, Prague, Zurich, Copenhagen, Budapest, Munich, Vienna
    • · Available in April and June/July
    • · Willingness to work some early mornings from 5am onwards
    • · Organizational skills & good attention to detail
    • · Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
    • · Flexible to adapt to ever changing situations
    • · Remain calm under pressure

    Good to have:

    • · Experience leading groups or as a group leader
    • · Familiarity with your nearest airport
    • · Knowledge of North American culture
