About Koa

Koa Switzerland AG is a Swiss-Ghanaian startup in its growth phase, active in the field of cocoa fruit processing in West Africa.

As the first and so far, the only company in the world, Koa is processing the cocoa fruit in cooperation with smallholder farmers in rural Ghana.

Through Koa's activities, the farmers increase their income significantly and an additional 40% of the cocoa pulp is upcycled.

Junior Toll Manufacturing Manager (M/F/d % in Zurich, Switzerland

Your Mission

As Toll Manufacturing Manager, your objective is to ensure the availability of Koa's various end products, by leading 3rd party manufacturing with a particular focus on quality and production.

You will ensure production reliability at a competitive cost and regulatory, contractual, and operational compliance.

In your position you will be responsible for:

• Plan and organize productions with toll manufacturers and internal stakeholders based

on supply and demand

• Evaluate, audit and approve existing as well as potentially new toll manufacturers
• Coordinate toll manufacturing from raw material reception to end product delivery
• Review and control toller performance and product compliance according to quality

requirements and contractual agreements

• Investigate stakeholder complaints and ensure resolution
• Drive continuous improvement activities in toller related processes
• Support the regional and global manufacturing strategy, business priorities and budget

targets

• Participate in selected operational and commercial projects

Your profile
You are driven to dedicate your working hours to a meaningful but equally joyful cause and have the following qualifications on board:

• Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship plus additional qualification (e.g. CAS, MAS) in

Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Food Science related field

• 35 years working experience in a manufacturing environment (such as processing

operations, logistics, supplier management, production planning)

• Good understanding of food manufacturing, fill & pack technologies and processes
• Good knowledge of quality and regulatory standards
• Strong 3rd party relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience in working with ERP systems
• Proficient in English and German (spoken and written), 3rd language is a plus
• You are self driven, motivated, diligent and resultdriven
