Your mission?


The overall mission of the local Accounting Team member is within the scope of all areas of Accounting (Tax, Project Accounting, Billing/Customer invoicing, Fixed Assets, Trade Receivables, Trade Payables) in close collaboration with the Global Finance Shared Service Center.


As an Accounting team member you will ensure smooth and correct transactions and process according to calendar or upon request.

Your key accountabilities?
Local Accounting Team member works in one area of Accounting (Tax, Project Accounting, Billing/Customer Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Trade Receivables, Trade Payables), performing some or all the following standard transactions:

  • Applies procedures and escalates issues not following standard treatment/ consolidation rules
  • Integrate data coming from several sources and carry out validating calculations and/or accounting schemes
  • Validate the accuracy of the content of documents
  • Verifies calculations, checks or allocates codes, checks or obtains correct authorization
  • Follow up with internal/external contacts in order to obtain missing information
  • Prepare calculation of depreciation and provisions within the framework of instructions received

Your qualifications:


  • Above 5 years of proven experience preferably in Multinational Company as Accounting associate
  • Good knowledge of all Accounting processes (e.g. procure to pay, record to report, etc)
  • Proven experience operating with FSSC or BPO
  • SAP based ERP experience desirable and strong enduser Knowledge of SAP/related Finance tools
  • Experience in Internal/External Audit
  • Experience in Statutory Accounting
  • Experience in International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experience in local direct and indirect tax

Your skills:


  • Fluent in English and German (French would be a plus)
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets;
  • Knowledge of an accounting information system
  • Experience in local direct and indirect tax
  • Good problemsolving and time management skills
  • Good in using Business Indicators
  • Ability to manage several topics at the same time, quick in execution
  • Propose Change and Innovation, Lead Initiatives
  • Demonstrate teamwork, honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm
  • Resilience, ability to work under pressure
  • Balance shortterm and longterm perspectives
