RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain high quality and timely accounting records of trust and fiduciary structures.
- Perform periodic reconciliation of internal accounting records to portfolio statements from financial institutions.
- Prepare financial statements of trust and fiduciary structures in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards or relevant regulatory requirements, with guidance from Senior Trust Accountants.
- Involvement with and management of automated data feeds from thirdparty custodians.
- Support on quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (clients, advisors, bankers, lawyers, consultants) in close coordination with Sequent Client Services and Wealth Planning teams.
- Participation in various Client Reporting and Investment Monitoring improvement projects and initiatives implementations (automation, system development, standardisation).
REQUIREMENTS
- Sound accounting knowledge, e.g. Bachelor in Management from a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule, Haute Ecole), diploma in management / accounting from a business school or similar qualifications.
- Firsthand experience in bookkeeping, accounting or controlling as well as any relevant experience in wealth management, private banking or the fiduciary industry would be a significant advantage.
- Developed IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with an eye for details.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication with ability to engage with others across all levels of seniority and to work in a multicultural environment.
- A team player with a cando attitude, who is client, service
- Fluency in English. Other language skills are a plus.
