The Account Manager (AM) is mainly responsible for servicing the clients (Employees of the Bank) in the day-to-day work and takes ownership of the account administration, documentation formalities and tasks in daily operations and projects impacting the account administration.

She/he will be part of a team responsible to execute trades and this entails dealing with routine enquiries and transactions as well as documentation to meet regulatory requirements without the involvement of a Relationship Manager.

She/he demonstrates excellent professional, personal as well as social skills when liaising with clients.

The AM ensures the operational client account management and interacts with internal as well as external stakeholders independently and provides clients with relevant information.

The AM acts as role model in bringing the best service quality to clients in a fast, professional and friendly manner, always living the Julius Baer values (Care, Passion, and Excellence).

The AM shows professional commitment to ensuring excellent administration of the account, to clients as well as to the Bank and is willing to go the extra mile.


YOUR CHALLENGE:


Clients support

  • Service clients in the daytoday work and handle the full account management of a client on an executiononly basis (no investment advice provided) without the involvement of a Relationship Manager
  • Handles the account openings for new clients as well as account changes to existing clients, ensures that accurate and highquality client relationship documentation formalities are met and maintained to a high standard at all times including client identification documentation (CDB), account opening forms and other relevant legal forms
  • Interacts with clients globally in an independent and professional manner in all aspects of account management
  • Ensures efficient and prompt handling of orders, trades, transactions, etc.

Business Development

  • Manages the internal projects, which impact the account relationships, directly solving the administrative issues that arise and ensuring that all relevant systems are maintained and updated and all documentation collected as necessary
  • Organises herself/himself in an efficient and compliant manner and ensures timely and appropriate information of the superior
  • Conducts reviews, plans ahead and documents his/her own work at all times shares relevant information, ideas, findings and research with colleagues to improve processes and to increase productivity and quality

YOUR PROFILE:


Personal and Social

  • Very good interpersonal skills, open and approachable, extraordinary Team player

Professional and Technical

  • Either at least 5 years of experience as Assistant RM or 3 years of experience as A(R)M and job related higher degree
  • Excellent written and oral skills in German, English; additional languages e.g. Italian or French a plus
  • Indepth knowledge in banking and client servicing and pronounced knowledge in all asset classes in a portfolio context
  • Experience as Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) or Account Manager (AM)
