Beschreibung

TE Connectivity's Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc.

in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
Your possibility to enter the world of accounting
Coordinates, administers, and controls financial operations. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports. Directs all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts. Oversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements


Responsibilities:


  • Perform typical Month End Close tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • GL accounting for group entities
  • Conduct regular Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Coordinate and process with Legal Entities Service Fee Expenses, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Handle Freight Accruals to accurately account for transportation costs.
  • Communicate with Business Units to gather necessary financial information and resolve any queries.
  • Work with the transfer pricing team regarding transfer price adjustments.
  • Perform various accounting tasks related to VAT, including data entry, reconciliations, and collaboration with the dedicated VAT-Team.
  • Prepare and submit Statistics for the Swiss National Bank in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform monthend and yearend closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (external and internal audits, SOX-Controls).
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
  • Stay uptodate with accounting regulations and best practices.

What your background should look like:

  • Education in Finance and Accounting (Degree; University / University of Applied Sciences or another comparable Degree)
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Good in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good English skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
