Together we are creating new possibilities for people living with diabetes, their loved ones, and the healthcare providers supporting them through a positively different experience.


INNOVATE EVERYDAY
AMF Medical is developing Sigi, a next-gen. insulin "patch pump".

This insulin management system will offer better treatment options for people with diabetes, especially Type 1 diabetes young adults and children.

In addition to its uncompromising ergonomics, the pump has better accuracy and faster occlusion detection - among other advantages - than insulin pumps currently available: it received a "Breakthrough Device" Designation by the FDA.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:


_ Working from AMF Medical's office onsite in Switzerland,_ you'll support our growth and the ramp-up of our company to bring Sigi to market, we are looking for a fully committed and highly efficient Administrative Specialist to take on, with a high degree of independence, the administrative activities of the company, under the supervision of the HR Administration and Business Support Manager.


Accounting administration:


  • Processes invoices, followsup with creditors, completes payment registrations as well as bank and credit cards reconciliations.
  • Completes new Purchase Order (PO) verification, opens POs/PRECs followsup with the team and suppliers.
  • Submits expense claims for processing.
  • Completes analytical entries of salaries, rent, and monthly prepaid recordings.
  • Responsible for ERP system maintenance.
  • Places orders in the ERP, follows purchases until reception, and follows the invoices up to the entry into accounting, with a followup of the project expenses.
  • Conducts budget followups and reporting.

Office administration:


  • Handles the reception and distribution of mail and calls.
  • Welcome visitors.
  • Responsible for efficiently expediting packages and letters, including rush and courier services.
  • Responsible for purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Responsible for maintenance and proper functioning of all office equipment, including printers, coffee machines, and dishwasher.
  • Organizes company internal events and occasionally external events.
  • Responsible for scanning/filing physical and digital documents concerning Board/Shareholders, IP, insurances, and banks.
  • May update the company's website and LinkedIn postings.
  • Responsible for regularly updating the office inventory.
  • Coordinates with IT consultant for team and general office needs.
  • Responsible for working directly with R&D/QA-RA/Industrialization teams to provide administrative support.
  • Organizes travel, working lunches, reception of visitors and other support activities.

YOU'RE AWESOME AT:


  • 23 years of demonstrated administrative experience.
  • Valid Swiss work permit.
  • Commercial/accountant training. CFC, Business school or equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask and flexibility to carry a high diversity of tasks.
  • Interest in people and affinity numbers.
  • High attention to detail.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and French, good knowledge of German a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously: strong organizational skills, ability to structure and reflect, in the spirit of initiativetaking.
  • Proficiency in usual office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and modern cloud tools (online ERP, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Multidisciplinary orientation and adaptability.
