Oracle APEX Developer - Zürich, Schweiz - Nordwand Group

The Nordwand Group is currently looking for an Oracle APEX Developer on a contract to permanent basis for their biotech client. You will be based in Zurich Switzerland in this position you will focus more on the database side of APEX and not so much on JavaScript since these applications don?t have such complicated user interfaces within the company.

As an APEX Developer you would be embedded in a very successful department working closely with the software engineering team working on their application requests.

• Design and implement new applications and features using APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript where necessary
• Integration of third-party APEX plugins
• Application design enhancements and new product features
• Interact closely with end user stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions

Skills Required:

• Experience designing and developing web applications using APEX, PL/SQL, and JavaScript
• Strong Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming skills
• Designing new and extending existing data models
• Web application security / Data security
• Experience managing web page layouts with APEX templates [&] themes
• Collaboration with other engineering teams and the business to understand needs
