Beschreibung

As Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of global sales strategies, driving the growth of the top line, and exploring new business opportunities in the assigned geographic area.


Reporting to the Head of Global Service Sales you will ensure, that the global Service network increases sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the assigned region.


Responsibilities:


  • Executing Division sales strategy in the assigned Areas and Countries, including specific sales initiatives, plans, and sales processes to achieve or exceed annual targets.
  • Being accountable for the sales results to profitably achieve qualitative and quantitative targets for life cycle management, service products, and solutions.
  • Achieving service sales volume by ensuring that the sales force in the respective region sells the entire service portfolio and increases market share on the installed base.
  • Supporting the Digital Sales organization in implementing the company's digital strategy and achieving the sales targets for digital products and services.
  • Defining key sales targets (e.g. revenue targets, agreement revenues) in close collaboration with Service Sales management and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance in the region.
  • Coaching or participating in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume and create new value for the customer.
  • Being a coach to the Head of Sales in the regions and the link between the local Sales organizations and the headquarter.
  • Developing and implementing product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Implementing global standards, tools, policies, and processes related to best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Collaborating with other departments for the development of new service products and delivering value to the customers.
Your background

  • 3+ years of experience with sales in an international business environment.
  • Knowledge of turbocharging and/or combustion engines, understanding of key customer industries are an asset.
  • Experience in business development, account management, and crossselling.
  • Team player with distinctive intercultural and coaching skills.
  • Good communicator who loves to work with people.
  • An understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically.
  • Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, negotiating skills, a customerfocused mindset, and a professional "cando" attitude.
  • A university degree or MBA, knowledge in Engineering, Finance & Controlling, understanding of global market and customers.
  • Fluency in English, German, and any other language is beneficial.
