Your responsibility

  • Compliance Delegate of Helvetia Global Solutions; ensuring the compliance function for HGS in accordance with Solvency II requirements as well as the compliance system in place in Helvetia Group
  • Identifies, evaluates, controls, monitors and documents compliance risks that are integrated in the Internal Control System and Operational Risk Management system
  • Sets up the annual compliance activity plan of HGS including the branches, which includes the current focus topics, relevant risk areas and the compliance process, incl. monitoring of implementation Helvetia Global Solutions
  • Assesses the adequacy of the policies, processes and (control) structures established within HGS to comply with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements as well as the handling of compliance breaches
  • Conducts independent assessments of material compliance risks within HGS
  • Monitors legal and regulatory developments for HGS, prepares instructions for HGS on compliance topics, advises and, if necessary, prepares instructions for action for employees working in HGS on all compliance topics and conducts training courses

Your qualification

  • Basic legal training with further qualification (e.g. AttorneyatLaw, LL.M., trainings in Compliance)
  • Sound knowledge of insurance supervision and contract laws and regulations in the EEA, knowledge of the relevant Liechtenstein law is an advantage
  • Knowledge of legal aspects of organizational structuring considerations
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German, other languages are an advantage
  • Good MS Office skills
