different teams and customers from all business units to realize the annual targets, drive initiatives and support
the transformation. You will also support projects that improve our long-term performance, growth,
competitiveness, and resilience.

Materials & Production division at our headquarters in

Wetzikon/Zurich at the earliest possible date:

Strategic Buyer (M/F/d %
As an expert in strategic purchasing, you will play a key role in the procurement strategy for the Electronics
product group and in conducting negotiations to ensure long-term supply capability. If required, you will provide
support in industrialization and development projects as well as in working groups related to procurement.

**Your new role

  • Negotiation of longterm delivery conditions and contracts, including price hedging, deadline guarantees,
definition of conditions and quality assurance

  • Negotiating prices and drafting contracts for investment projects such as machinery, tools, testing
equipment and services

  • Conducting procurement market research and identifying alternative suppliers, including monitoring
market trends, exchange rates, commodity exchanges and price developments for goods and services

  • Carrying out benchmarking, requests for quotations, price comparisons and quotation optimizations for
defined parts, products and services

  • Codetermination in the selection of suppliers for new designs/parts during the development phase
  • Responsible for changing suppliers in accordance with the procurement strategy and the quality manual
  • Reducing procurement and material costs through projectbased work on product categories and
procurement markets as well as within the procurement process

  • Extension of existing contracts and expansion through additional quantity contracts in collaboration with
operational purchasing and production planning

  • Carrying out supplier evaluations, audits and assessments in accordance with the quality management
system

  • Participation in makeorbuy projects
***- Degree in engineering FH or TS (mechanics, electromechanics or electronics), ideally with further

training as a purchasing manager or similar

  • Several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing
  • Experience in the production of toolbased parts (plastic injection molding, stamped steel parts and
ceramic parts)

  • Experience in the production of assembled printed circuit boards (PCBA) and industrial PCs
  • Excellent negotiation skills, strong communication skills and team player mentality for a goaloriented
exchange with internal as well as external stakeholders

  • Confident handling of an ERP system and very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to travel abroad (max. 10%)
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English, oral knowledge of Italian an advantage
