The position is hybrid/based at our new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and part of our APAC organization headquartered in Sydney, Australia. For the expansion at our location in Malaysia, we are looking for an independent and teamoriented

Solutions Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)

The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day design of warehouse automation system proposals and concepts from Ferag. They will also be supporting consulting, sales, and pre-sales activities to boost the growth and development of Ferag in APAC.

What you will do for us

• Work with clients to understand key requirements and pain points
• Analyse and organise warehouse business data, forecasts and layouts from clients
• Propose 2D system layouts and equipment lists to meet requirements within the capabilities of Ferag and partners
• Organize proposal visualizations in 3D when required
• Moderate level of travel is required.

What you bring with you

• Background in data analysis and layout planning, with experience in designing, developing, and integrating automation systems.
• Expertise in consulting related to automation systems solutions
• Experience in Pre-sales support in the automation systems industry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• CAD design/Autocad/Visio
• Advanced Excel/BI/data analysis tools
• Excellent command of English
