Your responsibilities:


  • You define the strategy for our Energy from Waste (EfW) product portfolio (mapping customer requirements, market situation and dynamics, technology developments, USP definition, competition benchmarking etc.) to make our product relevant on the respective market matching customers' investments targets
  • You propose product portfolio developments in coordination with the sales team to maintain and improve the HZI market positioning in close collaboration with our R&D department, incl. make or buy decisions
  • You define the market strategy for EfW products in various geographies in coordination with Sales and Regional Growth Group
  • You set an annual and 3 years' plan of sales targets, benchmark the market competition and define our strategic positioning
  • You define and ensure knowledge distribution and sharing within the HZI organization for the EfW products across multiple countries
  • You drive strategic internal projects to reinforce our market position
  • You define the pricing strategies for your product portfolio
  • You report to Director Product & Marketing Management EfW
  • You travel approx. 20% of your time

Your experiences:


  • You are a trained engineer with an MBA degree, and 8+ years' experience in Product Management of (EfW or power) plant solutions
  • You have strong, proven knowledge in EfW or power generation technology and EPC business, i. e. as Project Engineer, Project Director, Sales Manager or alike
  • You have a proven track record of knowledge distribution within international matrix organizations (incl. BCC)
  • You have experience in talking to governing bodies, industry associations and alike
  • You are an assertive, strategically minded leader with exceptional communication skills towards both, technical and nontechnical audiences
  • You are fluent in German and English
