    Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Buyer to help us take our business to the next level.

    In this role you will be accountable for:


    •Performs purchasing functions, including preparation of purchase orders, change orders, and documents.


    •Plans and reviews production schedule. Issues and maintains shop work orders according to the Master Schedule. Prepares and issues purchase order(s) for items needed to support the Master Schedule Assembly Kit requirement.


    •Resolves discrepancies pertaining to purchase orders, requisitions, supplier deliveries, prices, invoices. Troubleshoots nonconformance issues with supplier(s) and appropriate Company personnel.


    •Keeps management informed of current and potential problems. Participates in production meeting to support shop, assembly, and other personnel in appropriate problem solving and to update status and set priorities for the day.


    •Regular and reliable attendance


    •Assures that drawings and all documents are available in the Work Order Packet.


    •Maintains strong supplier relationship and performs all duties and responsibilities within established procedures and standards of ethical conduct.


    •Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and ESH Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.


    •Performs other miscellaneous assignments and research projects as assigned

    To succeed in this role, you will need:


    •Demonstrated experience in MRP scheduling, capacity management, production activity control techniques, and inventory management. APICS and CPM certification preferred.


    •Four-year degree or equivalent, with 2 years of professional buying experience in pump manufacturing industry.


    •Experience with computerized procurement systems.


    •Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills.


    •Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
