DPR exists to build great things, predictable, high quality results are a key ingredient of this purpose. European quality managers/coordinators are responsible and accountable for helping the Quality Lead develop and implement process.

This involves providing value add quality related support wherever needed, throughout the entire project life cycle from 'Get Work' to 'Do Work'.


The primary function for this role is to work with the business and help develop, implement and continually improve the quality strategy for the European business.


This requires the implementation of consistent and repeatable best practices that are easily adopted by every team, and every person in the business and in the spirit of 'Ever Forward' striving for continuous improvement across the business.


Specific duties & responsibilities are as follows:

STRATEGIC

  • Assist in the development of the local quality strategy in alignment with wider corporate philosophy and approach
  • Promote _"behaviors that lead to predictable results and a culture of no surprises" _across the business
  • Lead conversations with all key stakeholders to discuss how DPR's approach to quality is different
  • Liaise closely with other personnel in the business to ensure alignment of efforts
  • Assist each functional area across get work and do work, develop their own best practices that are consistent, repeatable and best in class
  • Assist with defining, analyzing and reporting key quality performance indicators and benchmarks for the business
  • Continually monitor quality performance through quality reviews, inspections and consistency surveys etc.
  • Assist and develop and deliver bespoke quality training as required
  • Deliver corporate quality orientation to all new project starters
  • Assist in the development and implementation of specific quality campaigns and initiatives to increase awareness and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with external and internal project team members to align quality standards and ensure that quality is being viewed as a shared responsibility by all

GET WORK

  • Provide support to prequalification efforts, project interviews etc. from a quality perspective
  • Carry out trade partner quality prequalification assessments as required
  • Advise and assist the 'Get Work' team, including preparation of relevant technical bid deliverables
  • Ensure quality expectations and DFs (Distinguishing Features) are identified before issuing bid documents so as to capture those expectations in the RFP

DO WORK

  • Assist project teams in ensuring that construction documents reflect previously agreed expectations
  • Facilitate the alignment of project stakeholders around measurable expectations for Distinguishing Features(DFs)
  • Support project teams in developing lists of Distinguishing Features (DF) and charting a path forward for defining measurable acceptance criteria and process for signoff of DFs and Quality benchmarks
  • Support project teams in understanding and assessing how trade partners will meet scope specific quality expectations identified in RFPs, as well as identifying their DFs, including where appropriate review of project specific quality plans and associated inspection and test plans
  • Support project team with quality inspections and required checklists for recording and tracking site quality
  • Identify KPIs and track through reporting and project tools
  • Assist teams in planning, preparing and delivering timely and complete final handover documentation
