We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Manager.

Candidates with a strong mechanical or electrical background in building services, commercial construction, industrial projects, or MEP installation are strongly encouraged to apply.

The QA/QC Manager will play a key role in ensuring all works are executed to the highest quality standards, fully compliant with project specifications, industry codes, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Documentation

Implement and maintain the project's Quality Management Plan.
Review and interpret technical documents including drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and RAMS.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as checklists, inspection records, NCRs, technical reports, and handover files.
Verify that subcontractors follow approved quality procedures.

Site Inspections & Testing

Conduct daily site inspections of mechanical and/or electrical installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, electrical distribution, containment, etc.).
Ensure all works conform to project requirements and relevant standards.
Witness and sign off on MEP testing and commissioning activities.
Identify issues, raise nonconformance reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Coordination & Communication

Work closely with construction managers, commissioning teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met.
Participate in quality meetings, coordination sessions, and client walkdowns.
Support the preparation of handover documentation including O&M manuals, redlines/asbuilts, and test reports.

Continuous Improvement

Assist in developing and improving quality processes across the project.
Provide feedback and lessons learned to support ongoing project quality enhancement.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field
Desirable.
Experience working in construction, commercial buildings, industrial plants, or MEP contracting.
Previous QA/QC experience preferred, but strong engineering candidates looking to transition into QA/QC are welcome.

Skills & Competencies

Understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, documentation, and inspections.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problemsolving.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple stakeholders.
