  • MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
  • We are looking for a generalist who can readily support the team in tasks related to endofyear and summer camp assignments.
  • The accountant must be able to work autonomously, as well as collaborating smoothly with the whole team. He/she must show a great appetite to learn new activities, attention to detail and rigor to implement processes.
  • The position is to be taken as from midjune.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Temporary Accountant interacts with internal partners from all school departments as well as external partners: parents, students, suppliers, agents, insurance brokers.
  • End of school year activities:
  • Processing the school fees attestations
  • Preparing deposits refunds
  • Issuing Proforma invoices when needed
  • Summer Camp
  • Managing the cash desk including the pocket money distribution.
  • Issuing the invoices for Summer Camps
  • Supporting the AR Accountant on modifications/corrections/cancellations of invoices
  • Liaising with Summer Camp department when needed.
  • Tracking the payments and informing the Summer Camp department on them. Investigating nonreceipt of payment.
  • Participating to the payment reminders (after agreement with the Summer Camp department)

  • Assisting the AR accountant with the checks to perform on invoices.
  • Participating to the payment reminders
  • Holding the cash desk when needed
  • Other
accounting and administrative tasks on request


SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Qualification

  • Studies in finance/administration
Experience

  • Successful experience in an administrative environment
Prior Knowledge

  • Excellent oral and written French and English and communication skills
  • At ease with MS Excel (standard formulas) and MS Outlook
  • High level of accuracy in reports and invoices

Preferred

  • Studies in Accounting
  • Experience in invoicing
  • Knowledge of Navision financial system
