    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Project Manager to join our professional services team in Switzerland (Chiasso office). You will be responsible for delivering successful projects and the realization of tangible business benefits for FNZ/Appway's customers. You will be delivering engagements to the agreed customer scope, timescales, budget, and quality metrics, as well as assisting customers to achieve the expected return on investment. You will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of FNZ/Appway's delivery methodology and how this can be harmonized with a client own methodology.

    Main Responsibilities :

  • Operate as the day-to-day manager and coaching liaison of consulting staff assigned to engagements
  • Plan, track and manage capacity of the project team internally and externally (e.g., partners, customers)
  • Form and manage teams of the appropriately skilled staff from FNZ/Appway and its client and partner organizations
  • Define, negotiate SOWs and manage internal approvals
  • Lead the dialogue with the client and provide thought leadership so that the best system possible is implemented, including process re-design if necessary
  • Access and secure supplementary FNZ/Appway resources from internal forums and departments such as staffing calls, triage, situation management and customer support
  • Develop customer relationships over time beyond the running project length
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree Required
  • Minimum 5 years consulting or relevant industry experience
  • Project management experience in IT Banking/FSI is a must
  • Deep domain knowledge in financial services industries
  • Deep subject matter expert in software project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall and Scrum approaches)
  • External client facing experience with personas like business executives or technology leaders
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritize tasks according to project goals
  • Willing to travel to customer locations as permitted
  • Business fluency in English (must) and at least one of the following: Italian, French and German.
  • Preferred:

  • Experience managing technology engagements desired
  • Profound knowledge of the Swiss market, existing network is an asset
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM certification)
