Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • We are looking for an experienced Head of Material Compliance 100% (all genders) to ensure our company remains compliant adhering to legislation, standards and inhouse policies. You will be responsible for the definition of strategies to meet requirements for Material Compliance in all applicable aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on their implementation.
  • This role reports to the Head of Legal Metrology within the Compliance Circle. This position is based at our global operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, Zurich.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

  • You stay well informed of any related change to Material Compliance legislation on a global basis relevant for the whole METTLER TOLEDO Group
  • You coordinate within the METTLER TOLEDO Group the necessary activities to such regulatory changes and providing the relevant information to the impacted units
  • You support the implementation of eTools for Material Compliance data management in close collaboration with PLM and Global Procurement
  • You monitor the Material Compliance workflow according to the PLM standards
  • You assist as needed with any potential product field retrofit or recall, related to material compliance topics, including necessary support to regulatory agencies and customers
What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

  • You have relevant experience in the field of procurement and competent interaction with suppliers
  • Ideally, you gained firsthand experiences in dealing with complex regulations and compliance requirements for legal entities and products designed, developed, manufactured, distributed and sold by those entities in ideally global markets
  • You show solid Project Management skills to coordinate and monitor the implementation of new regulations relevant for the METTLER TOLEDO Group
  • You have strong skills in spoken and written English, ideally also German, and the ability to communicate in technically complex topics with a global and highlevel audience
  • You are comfortable in working independently and within a network of various experts responsible for Material and Environmental Compliance matters across the METTLER TOLEDO
