Job summary
The EHS Design Compliance Engineer ensures Environmental Health and Safety requirements are implemented at all stages of an investment project in line with Lonza's policies procedures legal regulations.The role focuses on evaluating safety impacts throughout the project lifecycle ensuring Lonza's EHS procedures are applied particularly within the GE Growth project Visp CAPEX initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with fire protection requirements according to VKF Guideline 12 Fire Protection Organizational Fire Protection on assigned construction sites.
- Conducts ATEX risk assessment prepares Explosion Protection Document conducts Hazard Operability Studies HAZOP identifies potential hazards in process design operations documents findings recommends mitigation measures evaluates prioritizes risks based on likelihood consequence recommends controls to minimize eliminate identified risks.
