Climate Risk Researcher - Fixed Term Contract


We build cutting-edge software to identify and analyze the exposure of companies, properties, and financial assets to climate change risks and opportunities.

Our models cover policy, technology and physical risks and translate these into relevant metrics for global investors.

It's our goal to alert investors of the climate risk profiles of their investments and to tackle climate change at the roots.

We are looking for a sharp, energetic and organized person who thrives in a fast-paced, fun and challenging environment to extend our existing research team for a period of 9-12 months.

Your key responsibilities

  • Take an active role in our Climate Coverage Product's project management activities from a feature's perspective
  • Actively maintain project overview and manage communication channels effectively
  • Take ownership in planning tasks & coordination
  • Support Climate Coverage Product's data QC automation control
  • Support the implementation of climate models into new products
  • Contribute to our extensive code base with various model updates & improvements
  • Support moving the Private Assets topic forward
  • Support activities relating to financial topics
  • Take over client & partnership relation management with our clients
  • Support the CRC (Climate Risk Center) team in any other tasks / projects that might come up

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • University degree (Bachelors/Masters) in a relevant field (scientific, environmental, analytical, financial etc.)
years of working experience in the field of analytics, finance, environment or similar

  • Sound Python programming/coding experience
  • Basic level financials knowledge
  • Good Project Management, organizational and analytical skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English
