    If you're a Transportation & Warehousing Manager within EMEA who has a strong continuous improvement mindset and experience in process improvements - this could be the role for you:

    Here's what you'll do:

    • Lead, Schedule & Monitor client shipments/internal shipments (all transport modes in all sub-steps) together with Control Tower
    • Collaborate with various departments to efficiently implement regional operations
    • Communicate, coordinate and liaise with SkyCell Stations to ensure efficient daily operations
    • Coordinate the SkyCell Stations to ensure efficient container turnaround
    • Execute and organize all event transportations including rate request, scheduling and monitoring
    • First contact for technical issues involving SkyCell containers including damages
    • Analyse regional stock levels, including containers, dry ice ordering, tools, spare parts & consumables and ensure replenishment of the stock levels happens in due time
    • Identify potential issues/inefficiencies in our SkyCell Stations and implement respective solutions or escalate to PPI (Product & Process Improvement team) if more support is needed
    • Identify transactions and tasks that require special handling, recommend improved processes to management and implement resolutions within assigned scope of responsibility
    • Provide operational support to internal and external customers (BDs, Account Managers, etc.)
    • Support Regional Manager in various tasks/projects
    • Support the Control Tower with daily questions and issues
    • Train and support the onboarding of partners (SkyCell stations and suppliers for Leg1/0)
    • Attends Demos, Product tests, Events, Fairs & Exhibitions (if requested)

    This is what you'll need:

    • Minimum commercial apprenticeship and/or bachelor's degree
    • Knowledge of logistics and transportation regulations (e.g. CMR, SpedlogSwiss, INCO terms, etc.)
    • Pharma transport experience and knowledge
    • Very good understanding of Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015, CEIV, GDP and general GxP guidelines that govern the pharmaceutical transport industry
    • Basic leadership skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Familiarity with domestic and international geography including countries and major cities
    • Extreme attention to detail, including the ability to predict and circumvent issues before they occur and taking the proper corrective action
    • Ability to be highly productive while keeping cool under pressure
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in German & English

    Our Operations Team is responsible for the Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics Procurement part of SkyCell. We ensure that SkyCell containers always perform to their best by coordinating processes with the Service Centers and Positioning partners. We are monitoring each unit closely through our global network of Service Centers and partners that are carefully evaluated and trained in all relevant processes. Furthermore, we make sure that our units are available at any time, at any destination as per our customer's needs. We manage actively our reverse logistics, taking into consideration costs, lead time and Service Center capabilities. We build up customs processes and optimize our growing network on regular base. Additionally, we make sure that temperature data logging of our units is running smoothly in order to track the containers and reliably provide customers with data of their shipments.
